[1] Voter registration deadline is 5 PM at Voter Registration & Elections and DMV, 6 PM at the area libraries, 8 PM at the Central Library and 11:59 PM online at www.elections.virginia.gov

[2] **Deposit your voted ballot at the drop box in the rear of Building 14 at the Municipal Center 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until 7 PM on Election Day. All satellite locations also serve as ballot drop-off locations during hours of voting.

Vote By Mail

To vote by mail, fill out and submit a Vote by Mail Absentee Ballot Application Form up to a year before the election, but no later than 5 PM on October 27, 2023. Mail completed applications to P.O. Box 6247, Virginia Beach, VA 23456-0247, or scan and email the application to grabsenteevote@vbgov.com. You can also submit an application online through the Virginia Department of Elections’ website.

The Elections Office will mail ballots to those whose applications were received before September 22 no later than September 22. Applications received after that date will be mailed within three days. The last ballots are mailed no later than Saturday, October 28.

Voting Early In-Person

Early in-person voting begins at the Voter Registration & Elections Office on Friday, September 22, and ends on Saturday, November 4. Satellite early voting starts on Saturday, October 28, and ends on Saturday, November 4. There is no Sunday voting in Virginia Beach this year.
