Richmond, VA – Yesterday, Planned Parenthood Advocates of Virginia endorsed Michael Feggans for the Virginia House of Delegates, recognizing his steadfast commitment to protecting reproductive freedom.
“I’m proud to have earned Planned Parenthood Advocates of Virginia’s endorsement in this race and even prouder to stand with the majority of Virginians who believe Virginia should remain the last safe haven in the South for reproductive freedom,” said Delegate Michael Feggans. “With the House of Delegates proposing constitutional amendments to safeguard abortion rights, I’m committed to preserving and expanding access to reproductive health care here at home. “Three years after the U.S. Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade, reproductive rights remain under attack and access to safe, legal abortion has been decimated across the south. There is no doubt that Virginians require bold leadership to defend and expand our access to essential health care, including abortion. The unacceptable alternative is that Virginia becomes the final state in the South to enact an abortion ban.
